Krishnam Vande..(KVJ) 4 songs copied/inspired list

MOVIE         :  krishnam vande jagadgurum (2012)

CAST             :Rana,Nayanatara
SONG            : b-tech babu

MUSIC            : MANISHARMA

The sensible, experimental and critically acclaimed  director 'Krish' is back with his 'TRADEMARK' style movie. He likes experimenting and strives hard to make it genuine classic. His upcoming movie KVJ staring Rana and Nayan Tara is al set to release as soon as possible. The music has already been launched.

The songs may not be FANTASTIC, may not be ECSTATIC  ,may not even be ACOUSTIC but they definetly gonna be AESTHETIC as seen from the other movies of krish.

Right now Mani is in a bad phase of his career and is on the process to 'Consolidate' his Position as  one of the Top music director in TFI . Its really a crucial period for Mani as both of his compositions (CGR, KVJ) are released in a gap of short span. So he choose to play a safe bet, rather a guarantee one by 'COPY-MIXING' popular super hits.

There are alleged rumors that  4 songs are copied/inspired from various bollywood and hollywood soundtracks. Actually a big fight is going on in youtube and forums between ‘Manisharma fans’ & others. These cat-fights compelled me to post a complete story about all these 4 inspired songs.

1) ‘B.tech babu’ song is copied from the song ‘Emotional Atyachaar’ in Dev-D(2009).see the video

2) ‘Chal Chal’ song is inspired from the song ‘Rumors has it’ by Adele

*Note* : Only humming and background beats are inspired.

.

3) ‘Papa jagratha’ song too is loosley inspired from the song ‘Dil tho bachahe ji’ from Ishqia().

*Note*: only the starting humming and middle beats are inspired, but notThe full song.

special Note** dont miss from 1:23 to 1:30 (ishqiya), play it in full volume

.

4)’KVJ Theme’ is slightly inspired from the theme music of ‘The Dark Knight(2005)’

*UPDATED (15/apr/2013)* Some of you are accepting that above 3 may be copied but theme song isn’t becoz mani is BGM god & something blah blah (This is something similar to saying “He is a criminal but a good criminal” )…. guys grow up its easy to lift a theme than an entire song. He already proved it many times. Any way the dark night theme song is updated…. its not actually a theme song rather a soundtrack (agent of Chaos)…. I found it just days after posting the previous not so similar theme song, but couldn’t post it as I was busy… and finally the mistake is corrected.

*special Note: Listen to the background music in Kvj theme.

*hear from 0:00-02:30 sec carefully with full volume (02:15-02:25 xerox)

Final Verdict: all songs are more or less inspired but not balant copy works. #NO OFFENSE

Chatrapathi(2005) Theme Song Copied from a german Game

MOVIE      : Chatrapathi(2005)

CAST        : Prabhas,Shreya saran

DIRECTOR: S.S.Rajamouli

MUSIC      : M.M.Keeravani

Theme music ‘Agni skalana’ from the movie Chatrapathi(2005) has a haunting rhythm and a bizarre beats, discreet from typical Keeravani TradeMark style. Its goes in tandem with heavy and high pitch beats which stands out as the soul of the song. There is a mellow of sadness to the tone and the tenor as the chorus of Keeravani, Mathangi, Mangari dole out some wonderful extreme playback. This Extreme music is well complemented by the lyrics and fits exactly to the Powerful Protagonist Prabhas. All these factors played a key role in making it one of the cult theme song ever composed in tollywood.

But the real fact is that , It is ripped off from the theme music of a german video game  Myst IV: Revelation which is the fourth installment in the Myst computer game series, developed and published by Ubisoft and released on September 28,2004.

Jack Wall composed, conducted, and produced the music for Revelation; the game was his second game score, following the music for Myst III: Exile.Wall was initially a sound engineer and producer, the success and recognition of Exile's score landed Wall the job of writing Revelation's music with a budget of $100,000—twice the amount he had worked with for Exile.

And our great composer Keeravani, Senior most music director of tollywood, just xeroxed the music and used it in native style. One can undoubtedly call it a balant copy.

P.S: The interesting story about this lift is that it hasn't been revealed until 2008(movie was released in 2005). One more interesting aspect is that This song is the root for the revealing of many other copycat songs in tollywood from other languages i.e(people started doubting our composers and started exposing the copycatworks )

Now CCR Gonna 'REVEAL' it for you the original song of ‘agniskalana’

Manasantha nuvve(2001)-‘chepana prema’ song copied

MOVIE :      Manasantha Nuvve(2001)

CAST   :      Uday Kiran, Reemasen

DIRECTOR:  V.N.Adithya

MUSIC :       R.P.Patnaik

The song ‘Chepana prema’ from the movie Manasanta nuvve(2001) was a huge hit when the movie released and it became a humming tune to many and played a crucial role in the movie success. It was a melodious tune well complemented by the lyrics.  Not just the movie, it even stabilized the position of R.P.Patnaik as a sensible music director.

But the actual story is that , It was a balant lift from "Dov'è l'amore" (Italian pronunciation: [doˈvɛ laˈmoːɾe]; English: Where's the Love), the fourth international single by American singer-actress Cher from her twenty-third studio album, Believe, released on July 6, 1999.

But the song isn’t copied with the high pitch fast beat rather converted into a melody-mixed slow beat tune. R.P.Patnaik once again showed his interest in slow melodies while the original one was a disco-dance song.(if you are youth ,u gonna definitely like the original as it is fast paced & pumps up our body).

P.S: Had you noticed that the background track played in the movie ‘Dhee(2007)’ during the introduction scene of genilia(dancing on bed) is none other than ‘Dov'è l'amore’.

Now CCR Gonna 'REVEAL' it for you the original song of ‘chepana prema’
